Main tasks
The main tasks of the SBSSV are the instruction, formation and advance training of its members as well as offering a wide range of services to all partners in wintersports.
Today's fast pace and changing values in our society demand faster recognition of innovations and trends and their quick and efficient implementation. The SBSSV has recognized and accepted these clallenges and enables - due to its modern structure - continuous development in wintersports.
Quality management
Decisive for the quality of a service is not only its price or the used material but the ability to fulfill all the necessary requirements. Therefore, all objectively measurable features and producer specifications (of the SBSSV) as well as the individual customer expectations (of the course participants) have to be fulfilled.
These requirements have various implications for the SBSSV: to fully comply with the needs of the customer, to have problem solutions ready at any time and thus to guarantee a continuously high quality level. To make this possible, all employees have to be aware of their own role in making the course an unforgettable and positive experience for our customers.
Quality assurance
Therefore, education is not anymore limited to the classical ski and snowboard instruction but includes many other snowsports such as telemark, freeride, snowbike and other trend sports.
Ongoing changes and developments in equipment as well as increasingly short-lived trends demand continuous adaption to the market needs (customer needs).
This is the task of our head of instruction and his team. The SBSSV offers high quality instruction and guarantees to fully meet all market demands thanks to continuous market observation and subsequent product and service development (instruction, formation and advance training for its snowsports instructors).
In the future, our snowsports instructors are going to fulfill an even more important role for our guests during their holidays: they will support them with competent and professional advice as snow and leisure managers.

The main marketing activities include intensified PR, production of promotion articles for our members (skischools) and the association itself, as well as regional and national co-operations with other tourist institutions (SLTG, ÖW; mountain railways etc.) at fair trades, events and openings in and outside of Austria.
Communication
Communication within the SBSSV serves the purpose to enable an optimal flow of information within the association and among its members and to inform them continuously about all SBSSV activities.
External communication is an important factor in dealing with our partners in tourism, industry and economy.
The SBSSV is well prepared for the information age thanks to its up-to-date database and state-of-the-art technical equipment. Furthermore, we communicate by means of our internet platform www.sbssv.at and our monthly SBSSV newsletter.
Communication is one of the most important parts of successful marketing concepts - and even in this are, the SBSSV is offering convincing proof of its performance.
Sponsoring
Basic decisions regarding sponsoring have to be made by enterprises as a large variety of communication means are offered. Sponsoring has been a means of finance in the fields of art, science, ecology, social entities and especially in sports.
In sponsoring, both sides have to obtain a win-win situation and should profit from the partnership.
Sponsoring is another source of finance for the SBSSV and enables to guarantee the high quality standard now and in future.
The SBSSV is a strong and competent partner in the snowsports intruction sector and is a well-known brand in wintersports, thus representing the perfect co-operations partner for other "opinion leaders".
Benefits for SBSSV sponsor partners:
- High advertising impact during all trainings at Kaprun glacier (national and international visitors) thanks to a common outfit of the whole instructor team.

The SBSSV conducts app. 25 instructor courses (ski and snowboard) with more than 1,000 participants each year. That means a continuous and thus efficient presentation of the whole team to its target audience (opinion leaders).

Big advertising banners during all theory sessions in the seminar room (app. 2 hrs. daily). Hence, more than 1,000 people (= 100% of the target audience) sees the sponsor logo each day for several hours between 3 to 10 days.
- Possibilty to put the sponsor logo on the hand-out cover and/or integration of the logo in the corresponding powerpoint presentation. Every candidate receives a hand-out.
- The instruction team members are THE opinion leaders within the association which means that your product will also be known by the skischool owners, thus multiplying the advertising impact.
